Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Love Heart.
Love Heart was slow to begin.
Kraken Pat checked off Winlock Dyno soon after the start. Fleur Burger checked off Winlock Dyno soon after the start. Outlaw Donny, Be So Good and Winlock Dyno collided approaching the first turn, checking Be So Good. Outlaw Donny and Winlock Dyno collided on the first turn, severely checking both greyhounds; also checking Fleur Burger and Tye Me Chopper. Winlock Dyno checked off Outlaw Donny approaching the home turn.
Tye Me Chopper, which trailled the field throughout, underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Trainer, Mr R Martin declined to have the greyhound re-vetted.
Stewards spoke to Mr R Martin, the trainer of Tye Me Chopper regarding its performance in this event. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Tye Me Chopper must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
