Further enhancements have been made by Stewards around social distancing with COVID-19. In accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed the Starter to box the greyhounds in a single file boxing process, commencing with box 1, followed by 2, followed by 3, followed by 4, followed by 5, followed by 6, followed by 7, followed by 8. Essentially 1 through 8 in single file. All handlers will be 2m back from the handler in front.

Weeona Polly, Ripplebrook Rory and Señor Señor were slow to begin.  Weeona Polly and Angel's Prophet collided approaching the first turn checking Weeona Polly.  Mich Wiggle and Ripplebrook Rory collided approaching the first turn.  Angel's Prophet and Flying Lucky collided on the first turn.  Señor Señor was checked off Snooker Que approaching the home turn.  Angel's Prophet and Weeona Polly collided approaching the home turn checking Angel's Prophet.  Angel's Prophet faltered in the home straight and lost ground .

Angel's Prophet underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right monkey muscle.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. T. Erenshaw, the handler of Flying Lucky and Mr. S. Whyte, the handler of Weeona Polly and reminded them to remain positioned behind the starting boxes during the running of the event.

Stepping, Shrek's Rose and Meat Murphy were slow to begin.  Shrek's Rose and Go The Doves collided on the first turn checking Shrek's Rose, Go The Doves and Meat Murphy.  Stepping was checked off It's A Shadow on the first turn checking It's A Shadow and Barrabooka.  It's A Shadow and Barrabooka collided approaching the home turn checking Barrabooka.

Emma Banjo was quick to begin.  La Quinta Rocks was checked off Mad Eye Madam on the first turn.  Attitude Plus was checked off My Faith on the first turn.  My Faith was checked off Emma Banjo on the first turn checking Emma Banjo, My Faith lost considerable ground as a result.  Emma Banjo and Attitude Plus collided in the home straight.  Attitude Plus, Emma Banjo and Mr. Attitude collided approaching the winning post.

Whodat Opal was quick to begin.  He Shall Power was slow to begin.  Paua Of Oscar was checked off Zamora Lulu approaching the first turn checking Zamora Lulu.  Paula Of Oscar and Zamora Lulu collided on the first turn checking both greyhound's.  Earn The Magic and Whodat Opal collided approaching the home turn checking  Earn The Magic.  He Shall Power galloped on Zambora Lulu approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.   Earn The Magic was checked off Whodat Opal entering the home straight checking Whodat Opal.

Darnum Dasher – Late scratching at 2:26pm when representtive Sarah Boothby reported the greyhound to have an illness (diarrhoea) (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Golden Night, Zamora Lion and Special Kirst were slow to begin.  Zambora Lion and Uncle Drew collided approaching the first turn.  Zambora Lion was checked off Uncle Drew approaching the first turn and stumbled.  Bomber's Return, Uncle Drew and Show Of Force collided approaching the first turn checking all three greyhounds.  Bomber's Return faltered approaching the home turn and subsequently tailed off.  Golden Night and Show Of Force collided approaching the home turn.

Bomber's Return underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a fractured right hock.  A 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Captain Jake was quick to begin.  Leo Rose was slow to begin.  Captain Jake, Amarillo Highway and Aston Silk collided on the first turn checking Captain Jake.  Maximum Cindy and Leo Rose collided on the first turn severely checking Maximum Cindy.

Shantelle Rose was quick to begin.  Crackerjack Fish was slow to begin.  Sprightly Bro and Javi collided approaching the first turn checking Sprightly Bro.  Crackerjack Fish was checked off Fireball Friday on the first turn.  Fireball Friday and Javi collided on the first turn checking Fireball Friday and severely checking Sprightly Bro and Javi.  Fireball Friday and Crackerjack Fish collided approaching the home turn checking Crackerjack Fish.  Sprightly Bro and Javi collided approaching the home turn and again entering the home straight. 

Mahjong Nickel - Late scratching at 6:08pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Neville Wakefield was fined $100.

Shamrock Boy - new declared weight of 31.2kg, last raced at 32.3kg.

Seve Rose was slow to begin.  Charango was very slow to begin (5 lengths).  Charango was checked off Seve Rose on the first turn.

A post race sample was taken from Shamrock Boy - winner of the event. 

Baggy's Gold was slow to begin.  Aston Turbine was checked off Darnum Dodger approaching the first turn.  Flying Hulk was checked off Johnny Be Good approaching the first turn severely checking Jebrynah Octave, Darnum Dodger, What Price Bucks and Aston Turbine.  Johnny Be Good was checked off Private on the first turn.  Flying Hulk was checked off What Price Bucks approaching the home turn checking Baggy' s Gold.  Darnum Dodger marred Johnny Be Good approaching the winning post severely checking Johnny Be Good.

Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Handley the trainer of Darnum Dodger regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Darnum Dodger was charged with marring.  Mr. Handley pleaded guilty to the charge, Darnum Dodger is suspended for 28 days at Warragul and must perform a satisfactory trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Thurles Princess - new declared weight 27.8kg, last raced at 26.5kg.

Mepunga Billy and Father Phevos were quick to begin.  Nervous And Weird was slow to begin. Vesper Bale and Nowhere Nathe collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  High Kings and Thurles Princess collided on the first turn checking High Kings.  Father Phevos, Thandie Bale and Nervous And Weird collided on the first turn checking Thandie Bale.  Thurles Princess and Thandie Bale collided approaching the home turn.  High Kings and Vesper Bale collided several times from approaching the home turn to entering the home straight.

A post race blood sample was taken from Mepunga Billy - winner of the event.

Shanlyn Rob was quick to begin.  Curlin' Merlin and Star Night were slow to begin.  CurlIn' Merlin was checked off Winlock Buttons approaching the first turn.  Fine For Me was checked off Shanlyn Rob approaching the first turn.  Hurry Harry and My Lucky Mia collided on the first turn checking Hurry Harry, Fine For Me, Winlock Buttons and Star Night.  Hurry Harry and My Lucky Mia  collided on the home turn.  Shanlyn Rob and Curlin' Merlin collided approaching the winning post.

Voluptuous Blue - Late scratching at 6:23pm on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a papilloma on the left fore limb interdigital. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Winsome Fernando was quick to begin.  Scraping Paint and Flashy De Goey collided approaching the first turn checking Flashy De Goey.  Hurricane Red was checked off Old School Cool on the first turn and collided with Scraping Paint.  Hurricane Red and Scraping Paint collided entering the home straight checking both greyhounds.
