Steward's Report
Further enhancements have been made by Stewards around social distancing with COVID-19. In accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed the Starter to box the greyhounds in a single file boxing process, commencing with box 1, followed by 2, followed by 3, followed by 4, followed by 5, followed by 6, followed by 7, followed by 8. Essentially 1 through 8 in single file. All handlers will be 2m back from the handler in front.
Barellen Mist was slow to begin.
Ginger Meggs, Zellweger and Susie's Star collided soon after the start, checking Zellweger and Susie's Star. Ginger Meggs raced wide on the first turn, checking Zellweger. Zellweger raced wide on the home turn.
