Further enhancements have been made by Stewards around social distancing with COVID-19.  In accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed the Starter to box the greyhounds in a single file boxing process, commencing with box 1, followed by 2, followed by 3, followed by 4, followed by 5, followed by 6, followed by 7, followed by 8.  Essentially 1 through 8 in single file.  All handlers will be 2m back from the handler in front.

Barellen Mist was slow to begin.

Ginger Meggs, Zellweger and Susie's Star collided soon after the start, checking Zellweger and Susie's Star.  Ginger Meggs raced wide on the first turn, checking Zellweger.  Zellweger raced wide on the home turn.

Manila King was quick to begin.  Ronny Mac was slow to begin.

Manila King and Numinous collided approaching the first turn.  Ronny Mac galloped on Crypto Geek on the first turn, checking both greyhounds.  Our Missy Grace checked off Numinous approaching the home turn.  Ronny Mac and Crypto Geek collided entering the home straight.

Numinous, which became ill following the event, underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Screen Out - Late scratching at 2:13 pm, due to weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer, Mr Jeffrey Guy was fined $100.

Goggins underwent a veterinary examination prior to racing and was passed fit to race. 

Terka Wye and Free Advice were quick to begin.

Aston Valkyrie, Run Baba Run, Love Heart, Tin Shed Fred and Artpop collided on the first turn, checking Aston Valkyrie, Love Heart and Tin Shed Fred.  Red Hot Chevy turned its head and shifted out on the first turn, checking Daniel Avocado.  Love Heart and Tin Shed Fred collided approaching the winning post.

Red Hot Chevy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have bruising to the left triangle and hip, a three day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr Robin Moore regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the first turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Red Hot Chevy was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Moore pleaded not guilty to the charge, Red Hot Chevy was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Nitro Value, Elegant Malt, Sharky Shark and Kraken Tex collided on the first turn, checking Nitro Value, Elegant Malt and Sharky Shark.  Husky Beatle and Jar Man collided on the first turn, checking Husky Beatle.

Black Spring was slow to begin.  Shanlyn Rose was very slow to begin (4L).

Drogheda County and Prophetess collided on the first turn.  Prophetess raced wide on the home turn.

El Grand Knocka underwent a veterinary examination prior to racing and was passed fit to race.

Lektra Caution faltered and lost ground on the first turn, checking Apex Within and Kraken Dust.  Lektra Caution raced wide on the home turn.

Lektra Caution underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left triangle injury.  A five day stand down period was imposed.

State Of Mine and Calico Bull were slow to begin.
