Further enhancements have been made by Stewards around social distancing with COVID-19. In accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed the Starter to box the greyhounds in a single file boxing process, commencing with box 1, followed by 2, followed by 3, followed by 4, followed by 5, followed by 6, followed by 7, followed by 8. Essentially 1 through 8 in single file. All handlers will be 2m back from the handler in front.

Alfie's Affair shifted in at the 250m mark and collided with Causing Drama, Ryder Sir and Superior Breeze, checking Superior Breeze. Causing Drama and Ryder Sir collided at the 200m mark. 

Ted's Dream- New declared weight of 31.9 kgs, last raced at 33.3 kgs.

Diamond White crossed to the rails soon after the start causing Yeppy Allen, Parry Allen, Superstar Jessie and Blue Irish to collide, checking Parry Allen. Parry Allen crossed out at the 150m mark checking Yappy Allen and Superstar Jessie.

Kiwi Swagger– Late scratching at 5.33am when Trainer Mr Darren Petersen reported the greyhound to have an injury (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed.Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Zipping Sheila - New declared weight of 29.4 kgs, last raced at 30.5 kgs.

Zipping Sheila was slow to begin. 

Nothing Lasts and Fried White Bait collided soon after the start. Fried White Bait faltered at the 300m mark and subsequently tailed off. 

Fried White Bait underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Challis Sprite and Osiris Child collided soon after the start. Superior Sam and Megapascal collided soon after the start. Turn Him Around and Joking Bear collided soon after the start. Joking Bear, Superior Sam, Megapascal and Challis Sprite collided at the 300m mark. Megapascal galloped on Challis Sprite at the 150m mark causing Challis Sprite to collide with Superior Sam. Superior Sam checked off Challis Sprite at the 50m mark. 

Master Faith– Late scratching at 8.07am when Mr Brett Mackie reported the greyhound to have an illness (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Kireina– Late scratching at 9.18pm on 29 March 2020 when Ms Patti ladd reported the greyhound to have an an injured calf muscle (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Amanda Lee was slow to begin.

Superior Power and Layback Cruiser collided at the 150m mark causing Sole Elusion to collide with Layback Cruiser.

Amanda Lee underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Tickle My Fancy - Late scratching at 10.58am due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Ms Kerry Houlahan was fined $100.

Wazza Hawk– Late scratching at 11.28pm on 29 March 2020 when Mr Cameron Bahen reported the greyhound to have an an illness (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Speedy Spyro and Busy Bella collided soon after the start. What's His Caper crossed to the rails soon after the start. Run Fast Bonnie and Busy Bella collided at the 250m mark. Speedy Spyro checked off Run Fast Bonnie at the 250m mark. Inter Santina checked off What's His Caper approaching the 200m mark.

Crazy Jake and Pontiac Lass collided soon after the start checking Pontiac Lass. Premier Maggie shifted out soon after the start causing Lady Kin Lee, Always There and Tinker China to collided. Premier Maggie and Tinker China collided at the 250m mark checking Tinker China. Premier Maggie checked off Always There at the 150m mark. Crazy Jake and Lady Kin Lee collided at the 150m mark. Tinker China crossed out at the 100m and collided with Premier Maggie. Crazy Jake checked off Lady Kin Lee at the 50m mark. 

Greta June was a late scratching at 9.21am with the permission of Stewards. No penalty was imposed.

Red Queen and Maidenpool were slow to begin. 

Tamou Bale and Cee Me Snoop collided soon after the start. Harley Merrett and Red Queen collided soon after the start. Red Queen and Maidenpool collided at the 100m mark severely checking both greyhounds.
