Due to Government advice around COVID-19, in accordance with GAR 51(10), the Stewards directed the Starter to box the greyhounds into the starting boxes in the following order, 1 & 5, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8 for all races.

Hillbilly Road crossed out soon after the start checking Marli Ann. Terka Wye checked off Vegas Rules approaching the first turn. Hillbilly Road crossed to the rail on the first turn, severely checking Big Fella, Vegas Rules, Terka Wye, Our Missy Grace and Marli Ann,  Big Fella raced wide approaching the home turn. Marli Ann checked off Vegas Rules entering the home straight.

Aston Mirage was quick to begin.

Short Tyson crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Elope To Paris. Miss Trixy, Elope To Paris and Wrong Decision collided on the first turn checking Elope To Paris and Wrong Decision. Elope To Paris and Wrong Decision collided entering the home straight. Elope To Paris crossed to the outside in the home straight. 

Send It Socks underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the left back muscle. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Send It Socks - Turned in the boxes and took no competitive part in the race. Placed on a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 52(1).

Dinner Roll and Fast Food Junkie were quick to begin. Joffa's Mayhem was slow to begin.

Looby's Me Mum checked off Dark Jedi on the first turn and raced wide checking Dinner Roll and Sydney Cove. Sydney Cove and Always Innocent collided on the first turn checking Always Innocent. Looby's Me Mum checked off Always Innocent approaching the home turn. Dinner Roll and Always Innocent collided entering the home straight.

Circle Of Dreams was quick to begin.

Slingshot Prince, Circle Of Dreams and Vapour Blaze collided on the first turn checking Circle Of Dreams and Vapour Blaze. Ernesto Bale and Circle Of Dreams collided approaching the home turn. Ernesto Bale and Vapour Blaze collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight checking Vapour Blaze.

A post-race sample was taken from Circle Of Dreams - unplaced in the event.

Miss Adelaide and Narcelle collided approaching the first turn checking Narcelle. Cookie Deeds and Nitro Yap collided on the first turn checking Nitro Yap. Miss Adelaide and Jack's Fantasy collided on the first turn. Cookie Deeds and Opening Bid collided approaching the home checking Cookie Deeds. Cookie Deeds checked off Nitro Yap entering the home straight.

Miss Adelaide underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Tigers Nineteen – Late scratching at 2.40pm when Trainer Mr N. Carthew reported the greyhound to have a toe injury. (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Montaya.

Commencement of this event was delayed by 2 minutes to enable staff to remove wildlife from the track.

Lektra Lyrebird was quick to begin. Tan Back Tan was slow to begin.

Cosmic Katie and Belfast Dot collided on the first turn. Snake Pit Lass and Barefoot Barry collided on the first turn and again approaching the second turn. Montaya and Lektra Lyrebird collided on the second turn. Lektra Lyrebird and Snake Pit Lass collided in the home straight. Tan Back Tan marred Montaya approaching the winning post.

Tan Back Tan underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Bartlett  the handler of Tan Back Tan regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Tan Back Tan was charged with marring. Mr Bartlett handler pleaded guilty to the charge, Tan Back Tan is suspended for 28 days at Warrnambool and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Rampant Teresa was slow to begin.

Me Silly, Broken Drum and Galaxy Queen collided approaching the first turn checking Me Silly and Broken Drum. Broken Drum checked off Galaxy Queen on the first turn. Me Silly raced wide entering the home straight checking Galaxy Queen.

Galaxy Queen underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a torn toe nail . A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Thomeli Boy was quick to begin. Miss Klara, Don's Scolari and Jackson Abby were slow to begin. 

Don's Scolari and Jackson Abby collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds, Jackson Abby stumbled and lost ground as a result. Don's Scolari checked off Miss Klara in the home straight.

Big Bad Buck was quick to begin. Chase A Star and Zipping Fergus were slow to begin.

Fairytale Wish went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin. Scott Confusion went up with the lids at box rise and was very slow to begin (3L).

Big Bad Buck and Zipping Fergus collided on the first b turn severely checking both greyhounds, Big Bad Buck stumbled and lost ground as a result. Chase A Star checked off Little Mug approaching the home turn checking Little Mug. Fairytale Wish and Chip It Around collided in the home straight.

Aston Sultan and Love Heart collided approaching the first turn checking Aston Sultan. From The Brink and Jacobite Jye collided approaching the first turn checking Jacobite Jye. Slingshot Titan and War Creek collided on the first turn checking War Creek and Jacobite Jye and severely checking Slingshot Titan. Slingshot Titan and Jacobite Jye collided approaching the home turn.
