Steward's Report
Due to Government advice around COVID-19, in accordance with GAR 51(10), Stewards directed the Starter to box the greyhounds into the starting boxes in the following order, 1 & 5, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8 for all races.
Terka Wye and On Patrol were quick to begin.
Tobin's Power and Jessie's Rose collided several times soon after the start, checking both greyhounds. Zipping Benson crossed to the rail on the first turn; severely checking Zetland County and On Patrol, causing both greyhounds to lose ground; severely checking Pete Cabang, which raced wide as a result.
On Patrol underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have soreness to the left hock. A five day stand down period was imposed.
