Due to Government advice around COVID-19, in accordance with GAR 51(10), Stewards directed the Starter to box the greyhounds into the starting boxes in the following order, 1 & 5, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8 for all races.

Terka Wye and On Patrol were quick to begin.

Tobin's Power and Jessie's Rose collided several times soon after the start, checking both greyhounds.  Zipping Benson crossed to the rail on the first turn; severely checking Zetland County and On Patrol, causing both greyhounds to lose ground; severely checking Pete Cabang, which raced wide as a result.

On Patrol underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have soreness to the left hock.  A five day stand down period was imposed.

Mepunga Felix and Mepunga Missile were slow to begin.

Fab Nine and Lara Diamond collided soon after the start, checking Lara Diamond.

A post-race sample was taken from Graceful Light - the winner of the event.

A pre-race sample was taken from Saint Tess.

Pyrenees Steele was very slow to begin (3L).

Lektra Loopy checked off Late Night Kebab approaching the first turn.  Saint Rufus and Late Night Kebab collided approaching the first turn, checking Late Night Kebab and Saint Tess.  Late Night Kebab and Saint Tess collided on the first turn, checking both greyhounds.  Lektra Loopy raced wide on the home turn.  Saint Rufus and Simmo Gogolac collided in the home straight.

Kraken Dust checked off El Grand Knocka approaching the first turn.  Seven Enemies and El Grand Knocka collided on the first turn, checking Seven Enemies.

A post-race sample was taken from Mepunga Wonder - the winner of the event.

Crackerjack Tys and Eaglehawk Miss were slow to begin.

Steorra, Outlaw Donny and Pyrenees Petraca collided approaching the first turn, checking Outlaw Donny.  Crackerjack Tys and Eaglehawk Miss collided approaching the first turn, checking Eaglehawk Miss.  Steorra and Pyrenees Petraca collided on the first turn, checking Steorra.

The start of this event was delayed by approximately two and a half minutes, due to operational issues.

Sand Runner was slow to begin.

Southern Meteor and Charley Davidson collided on the first turn, checking Southern Meteor.  Southern Meteor raced wide on the home turn.

Aston Valkyrie, which became ill in its kennel subsequent to the event, underwent a veterinary examination - no abnormality was detected.

Pictor Lucy was quick to begin.  Space Alert and Winlock Newbolt were slow to begin.

Tin Shed Fred and Space Alert collided on the first turn, checking both greyhounds.

Imminent - Late scratching at 3:08 pm on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37), due to dehydration.  A five day stand down period was imposed.

Jackson Abby was slow to begin.

Weblec Jack and Wallbanger collided soon after the start, checking Wallbanger.  Solar Tiny and Shanlyn Rose collided on the first turn, checking both greyhounds.  Solar Tiny and Shanlyn Rose collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight, checking Shanlyn Rose.

Gypsy Jean was quick to begin.  Calico Bull was slow to begin.

Roots Rock Riot and Gypsy Jean collided approaching the first turn, checking Gypsy Jean and Magnet Force.  Roots Rock Riot and Invictus Caleb collided on the first turn, checking Invictus Caleb and Calico Bull.  Calico Bull raced wide on the home turn.  Gypsy Jean, Magnet Force and Invictus Caleb collided entering the home straight, checking Magnet Force.

Red Wine Fever was examined by the Veterinary Surgeon prior to the running of this event and was passed fit to race.

Maximum Sarah was quick to begin.  Maximum Jodie was slow to begin.  Red Wine Fever was very slow to begin (3L).
