New York Diva checked off Twin Pick approaching the first turn checking Big Bash Army.  Meat Murphy, Mr. Coconut and Jack Of Hearts collided on the first turn and again approaching the second turn, checking all three greyhounds.  New York Diva and Meat Murphy collided approaching the second turn checking Meat Murphy.  New York Diva and Big Bash Army collided several times from the third turn to the home turn.

Mepunga Katie was quick to begin.

Magic Voyage checked off Addictive Pete approaching the first turn.  Mich Wiggle and Addictive Pete collided on the first turn.  Addictive Pete checked off Token Lilly approaching the second turn checking Token Lilly.  Magic Voyage raced wide entering the back straight.  Magic Voyage and Addictive Pete collided entering the home straight.

Spark Joy and Gold Flyer were quick to begin. Fine Tactics was slow to begin.

South East Queen checked off Gold Flyer soon after the start and crossed to the outside checking True Alpha.  True Alpha checked off Gold Flyer in the back straight.  Fine Tactics checked off Gold Flyer entering the home straight.  

Do A Runner was quick to begin.  Kratos was slow to begin.

Do A Runner and Zipping Marshall collided approaching the second turn.  Do A Runner and Rusty Yaala collided entering the back straight.  

A post-race sample was taken from Frank's Girl - the winner of the event.

Aston Lightning – Late scratching at 10:11pm 21/03/20 when Ms Tina Womann reported the greyhound to have an illness (vomiting) (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Oddjob Lad and Here Runs Emilia were quick to begin.

Brilliant Jet raced wide in the back straight checking Smooth Talker.  Nothin' To Lose checked off Oddjob Lad on the third turn. Oddjob Lad and Brilliant Jet collided approaching the winning post.

Sir Duke and Drumroll Please were slow to begin and collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds.  Suvla Bay crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Big Brebler and Rollo Ragnar.  Rollo Ragnar and Big Brebler collided on the first turn and again approaching the second turn.   

Zipping Sullivan and Fourth Dimention collided soon after the start checking Fourth Dimention.  Mario Vest Only and Parzival collided soon after the start.  Guinness Banshee and Mario Vest Only collided approaching the first turn.  Parzival checked off One Night Only approaching the first turn.  Guinness Banshee, Mario Vest Only and One Night Only collided on the first turn and again approaching the second turn checking Guinness Banshee, Mario Vest Only, One Night Only and Parzival.  Parzival and Mario Vest Only collided entering the back straight.  Parzival checked off Guinness Banshee entering the back straight checking One Night Only.  Guinness Banshee and One Night Only collided approaching the third turn causing Guinness Banshee to contact the running rail; Guinness Banshee fell as a result, checking Mario Vest Only.  Mario Vest Only and Parzival collided entering the home straight.  

Guinness Banshee underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a small laceration over the left eye plus a ruptured blood vessel on the lateral canthus of the left eye and an abrasion to the right foreleg.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Start A Riot – New declared weight of 30.1kg, last raced at 28.9kg.

Vens Revenge was slow to begin.

Reiko Ablett and Start A Riot collided soon after the start.  Tauwitchere crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Start A Riot.  Rixy Ya Pest and Tauwitchere collided on the second turn.  Start A Riot and Driftin' Away collided on the second turn.  Reiko Ablett and Start A Riot collided entering the back straight checking Start A Riot and Driftin' Away.

Vens Revenge underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Stewards spoke to Mr J. Clarke, the trainer of Vens Revenge and issued a warning regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post.

Lara Tara and Crown Simba were slow to begin.

Weblec Smoke and Find The Time collided on the first turn.  Mr. Rain Maker and Lightwood Lass collided on the first turn.  Lightwood Lass and Lara Tara collided on the first turn checking Lightwood Lass, Lara Tara and Crown Simba.  Mr. Rain Maker raced wide approaching the second turn.  Lightwood Lass and Crown Simba collided on the third turn checking both greyhounds.  Weblec Smoke checked off Find The Time on the home turn.

As Only Is was quick to begin.  Unique Quality, Timmy Tunga and Jugungal Black were slow to begin.
