In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, this meeting was deemed 'Heat Affected'. At the commencement of kennelling, the outside temperature was 23.0 degrees and the kennel temperature was 17.2 degrees.

Paisley Bale, Our Missy Grace and Skibo Rebel collided soon after the start checking Our Missy Grace and Skibo Rebel. Marli Ann and On Patrol collided soon after the start. Our Missy Grace and Paisley Bale collided on the first turn checking Paisley Bale. Our Missy Grace checked off Skibo Bale in the home straight.

During the running of the event it was noted the racing jacket on On Patrol was positioned more forward. After viewing all available footage Stewards were satisfied that the jacket had been placed on the greyhound correctly. Stewards took evidence from handler Ms Maureen Bloom who stated that she had difficulty boxing the greyhound and this may have resulted in the rug being pushed forward during the boxing process.  As Stewards were satisfied On Patrol was not placed at a disadvantage the All Clear was given. 

On Patrol – Proved difficult to box and will be boxed first in future events in accordance with GAR 52.

Call Me Silk and Invictus Lenny collided soon after the start. Nitro Roxy, Saint Tess and Cookie Deeds collided soon after the start checking Cookie Deeds. Nirto Roxy, Saint Tess and Me Silly collided approaching the first turn checking Me Silly and Saint Tess. Saint Tess checked off Cookie Deeds on the first turn. Call Me Silk and Saint Tess collided approaching the home turn checking Saint Tess and Me Silly. Call Me Silk and Cookie Deeds collided in the home straight. Me Silly raced wide in the home straight. 

Apt Flash was slow to begin. 

Burst Of Yap and Cayden Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Cayden Bale, Apt Flash and Maximun Jodie. Maximun Jodie clipped the heels of Apt Flash on the home turn. 

Saint Rufus was slow to begin. 

Aston Express, Bad Boy Barry and Nitro Yap collided soon after the start checking Bad Boy Barry and Nitro Yap. Nitro Yap checked off Jayla Strike approaching the first turn. Bad Boy Barry and Piper's Unicorn collided on the first turn. Saint Rufus and Piper's Unicorn collided on the home turn and again in the home straight.

Startron and Nimble Rebel collided soon after the start. Black Market and Noonbarra Storm collided approaching the first turn checking Black Market. Black Market, Mepunga Bella and Nimble Rebel collided on the first turn severely checking all three greyhounds. 

Moraine Hayley - Late scratching at 5.37pm on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to illness. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. 

Molly Byrnes and Little Mug were quick to begin. 

Dundee Blitz checked off Little Mug soon after the start. Crackerjack Nash and Zipping Pink collided approaching the first turn. Zipping Pink and Molly Byrnes collided on the first turn checking Molly Byrnes which collided with Crackerjack Nash. Crackerjack Nash and Molly Byrnes collided approaching the home turn and again in the home straight. 

Cassius Monelli– Late scratching at 9.25am when Trainer, Mr K.Iles reported the greyhound to have a hock injury (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Silver Destroyer and Khlo Money collided soon after the start checking Khlo Money. Artpop checked off Big Bubbles on the first turn and collided with Zipping Navy and Khlo Money; Khlo Money was checked as a result. Moraine Nicky visibly eased and turned its head inwards in the home straight. 

Moraine Nicky underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Trainer Ms Debbie Goudge declined the option to have the greyhound re-vetted. 

Stewards spoke to Ms Debbie Goudge the trainer of Moraine Nicky regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Moraine Nicky was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Ms Goudge pleaded guilty to the charge, Moraine Nicky is suspended for 28 days at Warrnambool and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Thomeli Boy checked off Mighty Marshall approaching the first turn. Zipping Dodge and Aston Sultan collided on the first turn checking Aston Sultan. Aston Sultan and Mighty Marshall collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. 

Let's Go Sally was quick to begin. Miss Klara was slow to begin. 

Tibby Shore, Raging Rampant and Ashby Mayhem collided approaching the first turn checking Ashby Mayhem. Raging Rampant and Miss Klara collided on the first turn checking Raging Rampant. Ashby Mayhem raced wide in the home straight. 

Magic Bulldozer and Whisky Hans were slow to begin.

Brother Griff and Twinkle Love collided soon after the start checking Twinkle Love. Magic Bulldozer and Whisky Hans collided several times approaching the first turn. Twinkle Love brushed the running rail approaching the home turn. Whisky Hans galloped on Magic Bulldozer approaching the home turn. Magic Bulldozer checked off Nanda Sizzle in the hoMe straight. Whisky Hand crossed to the inside in the home straight checking Nanda Sizzle.
