Lonnie Loot and Dewana Step collided approaching the first turn. Lonnie Loot, Dewana Step and Quid Pro Quo collided approaching the first turn checking Dewana Step and Quid Pro Quo. Lonnie Loot and Dewana Step collided approaching the third turn. Quid Pro Quo checked off Dewana Step on the third turn.

Plumber, Talented and Teddy Too collided soon after the start checking Plumber. Talented and Teddy Too collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Horizon Princess. Hurricane Ashy and Kratos collided on the first turn. Talented checked off Teddy Too on the second turn. Teddy Too and Plumber collided on the third turn, the home turn and again in the home straight causing Teddy Too to become unbalanced.

Talented underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the left monkey muscle.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Talented  – Stewards were satisfied with the boxing of the greyhound today and removed the boxed first endorsement for future events in accordance with GAR 52.

Bear Force One, Darra Onyx and Aston Franc collided soon after start checking Darra Onyx. Darra Onyx checked off Aston Franc on the first turn. Good Old Pendles, Bear Force One and Aston Franc collided on the first turn. Bear Force One checked off Dukey Duke in the back straight and again on the third turn checking Aston Franc. Darra Onyx and Bear Force One collided on the home turn checking Bear Force One. Bear Force One and Aston Franc collided in the home straight.

Harrell Bale – Late scratching at 8.19am when Mr S. Collyer reported the greyhound to have an illness(GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

A pre-race sample was taken from Kawhi.

Pure Cool Titan and Coyote Ugly were slow to begin. Kawhi stumbled at box rise and was slow to begin.

Railway Burra and Pure Cool Titan collided approaching the first turn checking Coyote Ugly. Pure Cool Titan collided on the first turn. Kawhi checked off Railway Burra on the first turn.

A post-race sample was taken from Riddles - the winner of the event.

Dewana Degoey, Aston Select, Falcon Heavy, Dewana Success and Rezzie's Choice collided soon after the start checking Rezzie's Choice and Glory Road. Galaxy Queen, Aston Select, Dewana Degoey and Falcon Heavy collided on the first turn checking Aston Select, Falcon Heavy, Glory Road and Rezzie's Choice. Falcon Heavy, Glory Road and Rezzie's Choice collided on the second turn checking Rezzie's Choice. Aston Select checked off Dewana Success on the second turn. Falcon Heavy and Glory Road collided in the back straight. Rezzie's Choice and Aston Select collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn severely checking both greyhounds and causing both greyhounds to stumble. Falcon Heavy checked off Galaxy Queen on the home turn.

Who Cry Now underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.  Stewards issued a warning to Trainer, Jennifer Torr, regarding the racing manners of Who Cry Now in the home straight.

Fly High Billy and So Say were slow to begin.

Fly High Billy checked off Quick Finance on the first turn checking Manny Allen, Tough Grit, Poison Gas and So Say. Flojo Mikado and Fly High Billy collided on the second turn. Tough Grit and So Say collided on the second turn. Fly High Billy, Flojo Mikado and Quick Finance collided on the third turn checking Flojo Mikado and Quick Finance. Quick Finance, Flojo Mikado and Manny Allen collided approaching the home turn. So Say checked off Tough Grit on the home turn checking both greyhounds.

Roger Express underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left monkey muscle and left groin muscle. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
