Steward's Report
Pursuant to GAR 104 (6), Lure Driver - Mr C Chilcott, did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way affected the outcome of this event. Mr Chilcott was replaced by Mr. L Gough.
Dewana Degoey was slow to begin.
Dewana Degoey, Aston Select, Falcon Heavy, Dewana Success and Rezzie's Choice collided soon after the start checking Rezzie's Choice and Glory Road. Galaxy Queen, Aston Select, Dewana Degoey and Falcon Heavy collided on the first turn checking Aston Select, Falcon Heavy, Glory Road and Rezzie's Choice. Falcon Heavy, Glory Road and Rezzie's Choice collided on the second turn checking Rezzie's Choice. Aston Select checked off Dewana Success on the second turn. Falcon Heavy and Glory Road collided in the back straight. Rezzie's Choice and Aston Select collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn severely checking both greyhounds and causing both greyhounds to stumble. Falcon Heavy checked off Galaxy Queen on the home turn.
Who Cry Now underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards issued a warning to Trainer, Jennifer Torr, regarding the racing manners of Who Cry Now in the home straight.
