Steward's Report
Swift Intention, Run Like Jess and Nothin' To Lose collided approaching the first turn. Why Not Rose shifted in on the first turn and collided with Swift Intention checking It's A Flirt, Run Like Jess and Nothin' To Lose and causing Why Not Rose to stumble and subsequently tailed off; Swift Intention fell as a result. It's A Flirt checked off Run Like Jess on the second turn and lost ground. Johnny Be Good tired over the concluding stages.
Swift Intention underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left wrist, left deltiod muscle, right sartorius muscle and left stopper bone. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Why Not Rose underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
