Lektra Loopy was slow to begin.

Goldana Bale and Javier Bale collided soon after the start checking Goldana Bale. Goldana Bale and Gaewen Bale collided soon after the start. Javier Bale checked off Apt Flash on the first turn, also checking Xeron Bale and Lektra Loopy. Saint Tess and Marli Ann collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Lektra Loopy and Xeron Bale collided approaching the home turn. Saint Tess, Marli Ann and Javier Bale collided on the home turn checking Marli Ann. Xeron Bale checked off Saint Tess in the home straight.

Javier Bale which became ill in its kennel following the event was vetted. A 14 day standown period was imposed. 

Apt Flash which became ill subsequent to being sampled was vetted. A 14 day standown period was imposed.

A post-race sample was taken from Apt Flash - the winner of the event.

Blackpool Grace was quick to begin.

Hillbilly Road, Nitro Roxy and Paisley Bale collided soon after the start checking Nitro Roxy and Paisley Bale. Blackpool Grace and Rilynn Bale collided approaching the first turn. Blackpool Grace and Kratos Bale collided on the home turn. Hillbilly Road and Nitro Roxy collided on the home turn. Blackpool Grace and Kratos Bale collided in the home straight. Hillbilly Road and Nitro Roxy collided in the home straight checking Nitro Roxy. 

Frank's Girl and Paradise Pippa were slow to begin.

Aerolithlology, Mepunga Fairy and Armour Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Mepunga Fairy. Link Here and Gold Flyer collided on the first turn checking Link Here. Aerolithology checked off Link Here approaching the home turn causing Aerolithology and Paradise Pippa to race wide. Paradise Pippa galloped on the heels of Aerolithology in the home straight checking both greyhounds. Paradise Pippa and Aerolithology collided approaching the winning post.

Trainer Mr. M. Delbridge was fined $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for the greyhound Taciana pursuant to GAR 33

Secret Chimp was quick to begin.

Taciana and Vin Joel collided soon after the start. Little Mug checked off  Vin Joel approaching the first turn. Little Mug, Craftsman and Yano Bale collided on the first turn checking Little Mug and Yano Bale. Yano Bale and Vin Joel collided approaching the home turn, causing Vin Joel to contact the running rail and to lose ground checking Taciana.

Vin Joel underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Cookie Deeds checked off Molly Byrnes soon after the start. Crazy Old Bird, Zipping Kiki, Toolleen Town and Zambora Clown collided approaching the first turn checking Crazy Old Bird, Toolleen Town and Cookie Deeds. Zambora Clown turned its head outwards and collided with Molly Byrnes and Zipping Kiki approaching the winning post.

Cookie Deeds underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the left hind leg. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Zambora Clown underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right monkey muscle,a 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr G. George regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. .Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Zambora Clown was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr George pleaded guilty to the charge, Zambora Clown must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a)before any future nomination will be accepted.

Big Brebler was quick to begin. Zipping Atticus, Aston Pirate and Jackson Abby were slow to begin. 

Crackerjack Dev and Aston Pirate collided approaching the first turn. Zipping Atticus and Crackerjack Dev collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Aston Pirate and Spring Party collided approaching the home turn. Crackerjack Dev raced wide in the home straight. Zipping Atticus checked off Dyna Eleana approaching the winning post.

Acting on a confirmed phone call from Trainer, Sandra Waycott stating she had experienced car trouble, Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Nalani at 12.42pm.

Headspace was slow to begin.

Headspace checked off Crazy Old Duck soon after the start. Crazy Old Duck checked off Shanlyn Magic approaching the first turn.

Acting on a confirmed phone call from Trainer, Sandra Waycott stating she had experienced car trouble, Stewards ordered the withdrawal of  Moyarra Whiz at 12.45.pm.

Zipping Walter was slow to begin.

Zambora Bear and Go Pappa Go collided soon after the start. Thomeli Boy and Zipping Walter collided approaching the first turn checking Thomeli Boy which resulted in Thomeli Boy and Zambora Bear being severely checked. Mario Vest Only and Numero Uno collided approaching the first turn. Thomeli Boy and Zambora Bear collided several times on the home turn. Thomeli Boy raced wide in the home straight.

Narcelle and Black Strat were quick to begin. Saint Rufus and Nitro Yap were slow to begin. 

Nitro Yap checked off Blackpool Astro approaching the first turn. Narcelle and Black Strat collided on the first turn severely checking Narcelle and Perfect Chase. Nitro Yap and Butterfish raced wide on the home turn. Saint Rufus and Black Strat collided approaching the winning post.

A sample was taken from Mepunga Bella upon arrival at the course.

Lulumon and Blackpool Amour collided approaching the first turn. Florentine Bale galloped on the heels of Barinya on the first turn severely checking Florentine Bale and Barinya, also checking Lulumon and Blackpool Armour. Lulumon raced wide on the home turn.

Barinya underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainers request and was found to have a laceration to the back left toe.No stand down period was imposed.

A sample was taken from Bingo Boon upon arrival at the course.

A sample was taken from Aston Ando upon arrival at the course.

This event was rescheduled to start at 9.42pm, due to water on the back straight. Club staff conducted remedial work and stewards were satisfied that the track was suitable for racing.
