Bring The Spring was slow to begin.
Kelli Pochette crossed to the inside soon after the start checking Line Trike and Maramba. Got It Right and So Much Mojo collided approaching 200m mark. Got It Right visibly eased and turn its head outwards approaching the winning post.
Got It Right underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 9. Got It Right was found to have right shoulder muscle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr M. Galea, regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Got It Right was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Galea pleaded guilty to the charge, Got It Right must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
