Stewards spoke to Mr. Jason Wickham regarding being late to kenneling of his greyhounds (9 minutes after closing time). Mr. Wickham was reminded of his responsibilities and issued with a warning on this occasion.

Lektra Midnight – Late scratching at 11.02am when Ms. Dailly reported the greyhound to have an illness (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Exclusively Mine and Konta were quick to begin. Ted Do was slow to begin.

South East Queen and Wendalin Bale collided approaching the first turn checking South East Queen. South East Queen galloped on the heels of Konta on the first turn checking Konta, Exclusively Mine and Gamma Bale. South East Queen and Konta collided on the first turn checking South East Queen. Gamma Bale clipped the heels of Ted Do on the first turn checking Ted Do and Konta. Konta clipped the heels of Ted Do approaching the home turn. 

Regal Missile and Zambora Lulu collided soon after the start checking Regal Missile. Daisy Field, Don't Argue Love, Name Me Nelly and Aston Genesis collided on the first turn checking Daisy Field, Don't Argue Love, Name Me Nelly and Regal Missile. Zekel Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Stewards spoke to Mr. C. Grenfell, who agreed with the stewards observation that the greyhound cramped in the home straight. Stewards charged Zekel Bale with Cramp (GAR 71), Zekel Bale must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.

An out of competition sample was taken from Tiggerlong Back on 10th February 2020 pursuant to GAR 79A.
