Mighty Marvin - Late scratching at 11.01AM by Order of Stewards. 

Skating Queen stumbled at box rise. Ed Deeds and Sway collided soon after the start. Commander Kay, Skating Queen and Sway collided approaching the first turn. Commander Kay and All Tuned Up collided on the first turn checking Skating Queen and Nine To Seven severely checking Sway, causing All Tuned Up to fall.

All Tuned Up underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have compound fractures to the left fibula and left Tibia. All Tuned Up was humanely euthanased.

Following the event the Stewards delayed the All Clear to review the position of the lure approaching the second turn. After viewing all available footage Stewards were satisfied with the positioning of the lure and the All Clear was given on the Judge’s numbers 6, 3, 2 and 4. 

Tarra Rocket – Late scratching at 8:54am when Trainer Jessica Hopkins reported the greyhound to have lameness (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Captain Dynamite and Here To Help were quick to begin. Van Ivan and Mepunga Royal were slow to begin. 

Vegas Rules and Mepunga Royal collided soon after the start. Here To Help and Van Ivan collided on the first turn checking Here To Help. Here To Help and Och Eye Mum collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Van Ivan and Vegas Rules collided entering the back straight checking Van Ivan.

Luther, Flying Yuna and Sixties Rocker were quick to begin.

Flying Yuna, Sixties Rocker, Fernando Bluey and Mepunga Katie collided on the first turn checking all four greyhounds. Fernando Bluey contacted the running rail on the first turn. Dust Storm and It's All Luck raced wide on the first turn. Sixties Rocker and Mepunga Katie collided on the second turn checking Mepunga Katie. 

Fernando Bluey underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the left pectoral muscle. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Outlaw Legend was quick to begin. Twin Pick was slow to begin.

Outlaw Legend underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left monkey muscle and right back muscle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
