Steward's Report
Mighty Marvin - Late scratching at 11.01AM by Order of Stewards.
Skating Queen stumbled at box rise. Ed Deeds and Sway collided soon after the start. Commander Kay, Skating Queen and Sway collided approaching the first turn. Commander Kay and All Tuned Up collided on the first turn checking Skating Queen and Nine To Seven severely checking Sway, causing All Tuned Up to fall.
All Tuned Up underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have compound fractures to the left fibula and left Tibia. All Tuned Up was humanely euthanased.
Following the event the Stewards delayed the All Clear to review the position of the lure approaching the second turn. After viewing all available footage Stewards were satisfied with the positioning of the lure and the All Clear was given on the Judge’s numbers 6, 3, 2 and 4.
