A pre-race sample was taken from Teddy Too.
Kiss Mwah was quick to begin.
Teddy Too and Run From Reality collided soon after the start. Zipping Marshall, Run From Reality, Rockstar Brass and Mepunga Mila collided on the first turn checking Mepunga Mila. Zipping Marshall checked off Run From Reality approaching the second turn. Zipping Marshall and Run From Reality collided in the back straight. Teddy Too checked off Kiss Mwah approaching the home turn. Teddy Too and Kiss Mwah collided on the home turn. Teddy Too, Inga Mia and Kiss Mwah collided in the home straight causing Kiss Mwah to lose ground. Mepunga Mila and Teddy Too collided approaching the winning post.
Kiss Mwah underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right triangle muscle. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
