Steward's Report
An out of competition sample was taken from Fourth Dimention on 21 October 2019 pursuant to GAR 79A.
Handsome and Kadalex Kid were slow to begin.
Spot On Cinta and Handsome collided approaching the first turn checking Spot On Cinta. Priority Pass and Aston valetta collided approaching the first turn checking Priority Pass. Priority Pass and Handsome collided on the first turn checking Priority Pass, Handsome and Kadalex Kid causing Handsome and Kadalex Kid to race wide. Fourth Dimention and Spot On Cinta collided on the first turn checking Spot On Cinta. Kadalex Kid raced wide in the back straight. Spot On Cinta eased on the third turn.
Spot On Cinta underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 10 and was found to have a right Achilles injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to the representative Mr T. Collins, regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the third turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Spot On Cinta was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Collins pleaded not guilty to the charge, Spot On Cinta was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
