Akina Indie was slow to begin.
Miss Eloise and Absolute Pin collided soon after the start. Big Bash Ellyse crossed in approaching the first turn checking Absolute Pin and Miss Eloise. It's A Tiger and Akina Blaze collided on the first turn checking Akina Blaze. Miss Eloise and Absolute Pin collided on the first turn checking Absolute Pin and severely checking Miss Eloise which contacted the running rail and caused Akina Indie to race wide. It's A Tiger and Big Bash Healy collided approaching the home turn checking Big Bash Healy and Akina Indie. Absolute Pin contacted the running rail on the home turn. Absolute Pin and Akina Blaze collided entering the home straight checking Akina Blaze.
Miss Eloise underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions to the left shoulder and hock. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
