Kalter – Late scratching at 8:34 am when Trainer, Alice Peat reported the greyhound to have bruising to the left hind leg. (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
Oriental Jade was quick to begin.
Why Not Dan and Raylene Bale collided soon after the start. Oriental Jade and Aston Bintang collided approaching the first turn. Why Not Dan clipped the heels of Aston Bintang on the first turn, raced wide and collided with Tiggerlong Grace. Why Not Gazza and Raylene Bale collided on the first turn. Why Not Gazza and Raylene Bale raced wide on the home turn. Aston Bintang checked off Oriental Jade in the home straight and crossed to the rail, checking Zipping Aspen.
