Black Mustang and Zipping Jamie collided approaching the home turn. Missy Giblet checked off Zipping Magda on the home turn. Black Mustang and Zipping Jamie collided entering the home straight.
Black Mustang underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hip muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Ms Lucinda Condon, the handler of Black Mustang and issued a warning regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the home turn.
