A pre-race sample was taken from Flashy De Goey.
Lots Of Chatter was quick to begin.
Aston Ultra, Nessa's Audrey, Sprightly Bro and No More Partying collided soon after the start checking Nessa's Audrey. Lots Of Chatter crossed to the rail approaching the first turn. No More Partying and Kimimela collided on the first turn checking Sprightly Bro and severely checking Kimimale and Aston Ultra, causing Kimimela to fall.
Stewards noted the muzzle of Kimimela became dislodged during the running of this event.
Kimimela underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a triangle muscle injury to the left and right hindlegs. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
