Steward's Report
Stewards inspected the track prior to the running of this race and deemed it suitable for racing.
Blackpool Astro and Crackerjack Nash were slow to begin.
Graphic Design and Narcelle collided soon after the start checking Graphic Design. My Mate Didgie and Black Aria collided approaching the home turn checking Black Aria. Blackpool Astro, Black Aria and Graphic Design collided entering the home straight checking Graphic Design. Narcelle clipped the heels of Crackerjack Nash in the home straight.
My Mate Didgie underwent a post-race veterinary examination following an incident in the catching pen, and was found to have concussion. The greyhound was monitored at the track by the OTV, post race. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
Narcelle underwent a post-race veterinary examination following an incident in the catching pen, and was found to have an injury to the left neck, left foreleg wrist, monkey muscle and left hindleg thigh. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
