Majestic Way was quick to begin. Crackerjack Jaws, Maximum Jemma and Crackerjack One were slow to begin. Can't Spell was very slow to begin (3L).

Miss City Girl and Limerick Prince collided soon after the start, checking Limerick Prince. Crackerjack Jaws and Crackerjack One collided on the first turn, checking Crackerjack Jaws. Maximum Jemma and Crackerjack One raced wide entering the home straight.
