Steward's Report
Kennelling closed at 10:45am (15 minutes after scheduled time) to allow several trainers to arrive on course after stewards became aware of a motor vehicle accident in the Woori Yallock area which required emergency services.
GRV Officials checked all Catchers licenses for the entire day's racing without issue.
Spot On Mick went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.
My Lucky Mia crossed in soon after the start and collided with Here Runs Emilia causing Gunner's Hawk to check off Here Runs Emilia. You Blast and Here Runs Emilia collided soon after the start. You Blast checked off Black Catani at the 150m mark. Stamped Urgent faltered at the 50m mark.
Gunner's Hawk underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left shoulder injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stamped Urgent underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 3. Stamped Urgent was found to have injuries to the left calf muscle, the left fibula and the left and right pencil muscles. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Man City Boy - the winner of the event.
