My Names Daryl and Belle's On Boost collided soon after the start checking My Names Daryl. Gotta Exceed, Aston Talks, Coco Baroque and Belle's On Boost collided approaching the first turn checking Belle's On Boost. Aston Talks and Coco Baroque collided on the first turn. Belle's On Boost raced wide in the home straight. Jaimandy Spider turned its head and visibly eased entering the home straight and again approaching the winning post.
Jaimandy Spider underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left fore tendon injury and a right hind triangle injury, a 21 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr P Donohue, regarding the greyhounds racing manners entering the home straight and again approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Jaimandy Spider was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr P Donohue pleaded guilty to the charge, Jaimandy Spider must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
