Jim's Hotel underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 8. Jim's Hotel was found to have a left triangle muscle injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Mepunga Frankie was slow to begin.

Mr M. Lanigan failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Mepunga Frankie for racing. Mr Lanigan was fined $100 pursuant to GAR 46 (2)

Winlock Newbolt was slow to begin.

Stewards spoke to Trainer Jessica Sharp regarding the significant market move for the greyhound Koenigsegg One which was backed from $41 into $7. Mrs Sharp could not explain the betting move. A post-race sample was taken from the greyhound placed second in the event.
