Steward's Report
Aston Genesis and Aston Ultra collided approaching the first turn. Chips An' Cheese and Empire Baz collided approaching the first turn. Aston Genesis and Mahogany Jet collided on the first turn. Chips An' Cheese, McIvor Bluey and Ride On collided approaching the home turn. Chips An' Cheese turned it's head outwards and collided with Aston Genesis in the home straight.
Chips An' Cheese underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left wrist injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. S. Stefanos, regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Chips An' Cheese was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Stefanos pleaded guilty to the charge, Chips An' Cheese must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
