A pre-race sample was taken from Martell.
Milwaukee Miss and Titanium Springs were quick to begin.
Zekel Bale, Rusty Yaala and Weblec Wizz collided soon after the start, checking Weblec Wizz. Big Little Sis and Zekel Bale collided approaching the first turn, checking Zekel Bale. Martell and Titanium Springs collided on the first turn, checking Martell.
Big Little Sis underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainers request after passing the run on lure and colliding with the end gate. Big Little Sis was found to have a sacro-iliac injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Titanium Springs underwent a post-race veterinary examination after passing the run on lure and colliding with the end gate. No apparent injury was found.
Rusty Yaala underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainers request after passing the run on lure and colliding with the end gate. Rusty Yaala was found to have an abrasion to the right hip and spike wound to the right hind foot. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
