Bad Apple was slow to begin.
Posterior Chain and Amanda Lee collided soon after the start. Kernel Panic checked off Wok Fried Yabby on the first turn. Hammer Head, Wok Fried Yabby, Bad Apple and Nalani collided on the first turn checking all four greyhounds. Posterior Chain and Amanda Lee collided approaching the home turn checking Posterior Chain. Hammer Head checked off Bad Apple approaching the home turn. Posterior Chain checked off Amanda Lee on the home turn. Kernel Panic and Nalani collided on the home turn and again in the home straight checking both greyhounds.
Nalani underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
