A pre-race sample was taken from Romanowski.
Expresso Love was slow to begin. Dirty Stella and Ginny Weasley collided soon after the start. Turnaround Tina and Dirty Stella collided soon after the start, checking Dirty Stella. Rocket Express checked off Almendra soon after the start: Rocket Express faltered shortly after and tailed the field for the remainder of the event. Romanowski and Expresso Love collided several times in the home straight.
Rocket Express underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to representive Mr A. Xerri in regards to the betting activity of Romanowski, the greyhound opened at $19.00 and was backed into $4.00 at race start time. Stewards will refer this matter to the GRV Betting Analyst.
