Moraine Rosie and Patrick Francis were quick to begin. Butterfish and Bush Mate were slow to begin.
Bush Mate checked off Nothing soon after the start. Pumbaa and Nothing collided soon after the start. Pumbaa checked off Patrick Francis on the first turn checking Moraine Rosie and Maximum Oaks. Moraine Rosie checked off Bush Mate on the home turn. Nothing and Pumbaa raced wide in the home straight.
