Steward's Report
Our Centurion was slow to begin.
Galloping Bluboy, Sweet Gabriella and Our Centurion collided approaching the first turn. Princess Pulse and Island Cruiser collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn. Galloping Bluboy visibly eased on the second turn. Galloping Bluboy and Sweet Gabriella collided in the back straight.
Galloping Bluboy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the left hind paw, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr Robert Lesjak, regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the second turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Galloping Bluboy was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Lesjak pleaded guilty to the charge, Galloping Bluboy must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
