Wild Hunny was quick to begin.
Wild Hunny and Midnight Marzy collided soon after the start. Deep Blue and Just Talking collided at the 300m mark. Deep Blue, Just Talking and Midnight Marzy collided approaching the 250m mark, checking Midnight Marzy and Deep Blue. Row Tay Tom faltered at the 150m mark.
Row Tay Tom underwent a post-race veterinary examination and re-examined following race 11. Row Tay Tom was found to have injuries to the right fibula and right quadriceps muscle. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
