Express Angel was quick to begin.
Express Angel and Erolo Bale collided on the first turn checking Express Angel. Kendra Vegas and Express Angel collided approaching the home turn. Mepunga Lock raced wide in the home straight. Crown Yasmine checked off Opala Bale in the home straight.
Express Angel underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle muscle injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
