Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr P. Gabriel regarding the number of starts the greyhound La Coconut has had between 25/06/19 and 09/07/19 (12 days - 4 starts). Mr P Gabriel stated that the greyhound has been fairly competitive in its previous runs and its weight has been consistant and he was happy with the greyhound's progress, however, if the greyhound were to show any signs of fatigue that he would reconsider its racing frequency. The Stewards accepted Mr Gabriel's explanation.
La Coconut was quick to begin.
Kiss Mwah and Josephine collided soon after the start. Rocket Boy and Another Storm collided soon after the start. Nebraska Nell, Rocket Boy, Another Storm, La Coconut, Sad But True, Shortest Straw and Kiss Mwah collided approaching the first turn checking Nebraska Nell and La Coconut. Another Storm Checked off Sad But True on the first turn. Shortest Straw checked off Kiss Mwah on the first turn. Nebraska Nell checked off Shortest Straw on the home turn also checking Another Storm and La Coconut. Another Storm raced wide in the home straight. Nebraska Nell checked off Shortest Straw in the home straight.
