Lucknow Magic and Tonking Home collided on the first turn checking Lucknow Magic, Smart Zero and Acer; severely checking Tonking Home which stumbled as a result.  Lucknow Magic and Smart Zero collided approaching the home turn.  Lucknow Magic checked off Smart Zero entering the home straight checking Acer.  Waverly Bale and George Knockin' collided several times from the home straight to approaching the winning post checking Waverly Bale, George Knockin' and Smart Zero.

Waverly Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the left hind paw and abrasions to the nose and the left foreleg paw. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Rock Me Lloyd, Aussie Bok Choy and It's All Luck were slow to begin.

It's All Luck and Cyclone Rhonda collided approaching the first turn.

All For Now was slow to begin.

Vineyard and No Problem John collided approaching the first turn.  Janiya Bale checked off No Problem John on the first turn and raced wide.  Foxy Cruiser and Fab Senorita collided on the first turn.  

Lozin' Must – New declared weight of 32.7kg, last raced at 31.4kg.

Blueflash Lenny was slow to begin.

Blueflash Lenny and Lozin' Must collided soon after the start checking Blueflash Lenny.  Lozin' Must checked off Gypsy Kiowa on the first turn.  Gin Lee's Joe and Salut Bianca collided on the first turn checking Salut Bianca and severely checking Hurricane Dylan.  Lozin' Must and Hurricane Dylan collided approaching the winning post checking both greyhounds.

Ebonique was slow to begin.

Ebonique crossed to the outside approaching the first turn.  Milo And Milk and Chloe Crumpet collided approaching the first turn.  Greysynd Mercury and Rosta Power collided on the first turn.  Milo And Milk checked off Chloe Crumpet on the home turn and raced wide.  Crackerjack Tim and Goorawin collided entering the home straight checking Goorawin.

Stewards spoke to Mr Luke Harris, the trainer of the greyhound Milo And Milk regarding the number of starts the greyhound has had between 24/06/19 and 08/07/19 (14 days - 5 starts). Mr Harris stated that as the greyhound was only exercised on a walking machine between races and not free galloped it coped with having its races close together.  Mr Harris also stated that the greyhound was seen regularly by a vet.

Spectator crossed to the inside soon after the start checking Smarty Pants and causing Kiranna Blue to fall.  Entwined checked off Destini Jaguar on the first turn and raced wide; Smarty Pants was checked and raced wide as a result.  Smarty Pants galloped on Entwined on the second turn.  Destini Jaguar raced wide in the back straight.  Spectator and Sweet Gabriella collided on the home turn checking Spectator.  Smarty Pants checked off Spectator on the home turn.  

Smarty Pants underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Kiranna Blue underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Mask and Superior Chase collided soon after the start.  Due Fratteli checked off Lady Alliance on the first turn and again in the home straight.  

Due to a technical malfunction caused by the TAB the semaphore board displayed Race 6 instead of Race 7 for this event.  All placings, margins and time were not affected.

Lucky Millie went up with the lids and was slow to begin (3 lengths).

Deano's Smidge crossed to the rails approaching the first turn checking Winlock Shakey, Speedy Ryder, Charlie Haze, Bolta Neveelk and Boycey Road; Bolta Neveelk galloped on Boycey Road as a result severely checking Boycey Road.  Speedy Ryder galloped on Thumb A Ride entering the back straight.

Pacific Action and No Sugar were slow to begin.

Brilliant Atom crossed to the outside approaching the first turn checking Piparae and Navy Storm.  Navy Storm checked off Piparae on the first turn severely checking Pacific Action.  No Sugar galloped on On Degoey on the first turn.  

Kimani was quick to begin.

Meehan Phil and Mini Fernando collided soon after the start.  Why Not Lola and Brindle Ninja collided approaching the first turn checking Brindle Ninja.  Meehan Phil and Jesse's Typhoon collided on the first turn checking Jesse's Typhoon.  

Fiesty Ivy was quick to begin.

Kubla De Kahn checked off Bowie Boy soon after the start.  Black Bindi and Fiesty Ivy collided on the first turn checking Black Bindi.  Miss Crazy and Placid Murphy collided on the first turn checking Placid Murphy.  Black Bindi and Bowie Boy collided on the first turn.  Dynamic Ross and Bowie Boy collided on the first turn checking Dynamic Ross.  Miss Crazy checked off Black Bindi approaching the home turn.

Horus Blue – Performed a Stewards Satisfactory Trial as the greyhound was stood down from racing at Sandown for Fail to Chase due to injury. Weighing 31.3kg and beginning from box 4, Horus Blue tailed off throughout the event and was not cleared. Horus Blue was not cleared to race.  Horus Blue underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Kadalex Kid – Performed a Stewards Satisfactory Trial as the greyhound was stood down from racing at Cranbourne for Fail to Chase. Weighing 32.0kg and beginning from box 8, Kadalex Kid completed the 311m trial distance in a time of 18.19. Kadalex Kid placed 1st in a field of 4 starters winning by a neck. Kadalex Kid has been cleared to race at all tracks.
