Going To Pot – Late scratching at 10:34am when the trainer Mr S. Ugursay reported the greyhound to have an illness (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
Lady Emerald, Pietra Allen and Lorenza collided soon after the start. Lady Emerald checked off Yuko on the first turn, checking Lorenza. Lady Emerald and Yuko collided on the third turn. Priority Pass and Cawbourne Scar collided approaching the home turn. Cawbourne Scar and Dewana Jayden collided on the home turn.
