Racecourse Road, Chardy and Claretown Boris collided soon after the start.Racecourse Road, Claretown Boris, Northern Moon and Oriental Taj collided at the 250m mark checking Chardy, Claretown Boris and Oriental Taj, Oriental Taj lost ground as a result.
Oriental Tarj underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right monkey and left gluteals. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
