Sweet As Emm and Winlock Dyno collided soon after the start. Base Camp and Feikuai Donna collided soon after the start. Sweet As Em and Winlock Dyno collided approaching the first turn checking Dyna Zaylee and Winlock Dyno. Zipping Dodge, Reiko Ablett and Feikuai Donna collided approaching the first turn checking Feikuai Donna. Feikuai Donna and Dyna Zaylee collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Base Camp and Rockstar Belle collided on the first turn. Reiko Ablett and Zipping Dodge collided on the first turn. Rockstar Belle faltered entering the back straight and failed to finish. Dyna Zaylee and Feikuai Donna collided entering the back straight.
Rockstar Belle was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right hock fracture, a 90 day stand down period was imposed.
