Steward's Report
Kintamani, Striking Success and Miss Zok Dee were slow to begin.
Cherokee Fawn crossed to the rail soon after the start and collided with Marcus Rose. Major Bourbski, Wicked Reason and Marcus Rose collided approaching the first turn checking Wicked Reason and Marcus Rose. Wicked Reason checked off Marcus Rose approaching the first turn. Wicked Reason and Springvale Misty collided approaching the second turn. Marcus Rose and Cherokee Fawn collided in the back straight checking Cherokee Fawn. Miss Zok Dee checked off Striking Success on the home turn. Miss Zok Dee and Cherokee Fawn collided in the home straight. Wicked Reason and Marcus Rose collided in the home straight causing Marcus Rose to collide with Striking Success.
Springvale Misty underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a small tear to the left chest muscle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Major Bourbski - winner of the event.
