Steward's Report
She's Gifted was quick to begin. Maximum Brew and Zipping Cia were slow to begin.
Glory Fire checked off Zipping Sassy on the first turn. Zipping Sassy turned it's head outwards in the home straight. She's Gifted and Zipping Sassy collided approaching the winning post.
Zipping Sassy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was then re-examined following race 10 and was found to have a right foreleg monkey muscle injury, a seven day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr Peter Sutcliffe, the trainer of Zipping Sassy regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Zipping Sassy was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Sutcliffe pleaded guilty to the charge, Zipping Sassy is suspended for 28 days at Horsham and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
