Steward's Report
Rockstar Solo and Mr. Rain Maker were quick to begin.
Lektra Desire, Graphic Design and Savatgy Bale collided soon after the start checking Graphic Design and Savatgy Bale. Mr. Rain Maker and Rockstar Solo collided approaching the first turn checking Rockstar Solo, Riverdale Tuohy and Graphic Design. Graphic Design and Riverdale Tuohy collided approaching the home turn. Lektra Desire tired over the concluding stages.
Savatgy Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to the Trainer Mr. C. Grenfell regarding its performance in this event. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Savatgy Bale must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
Lektra Desire underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have spike wounds to the left dew claw, however no stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative Mr G. Daily regarding its performance over the concluding stages. After taking evidence from Mr Dailly, viewing the offical replays and evaluating the greyhound's exposed form Stewards took no action on this occassion.
