Steward's Report

Gallant Toby was slow to begin. Akashi Miss and Ivy Girl collided soon after the start. Akashi Miss brushed the running rail approaching the first turn and again on the first turn. Beth Ablaze checked off Greysynd Blue on the first turn. Chicken Twistie raced wide approaching the home turn. Sayonara Sweetie and Greysynd Blue collided entering the home straight.

Akashi Miss underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right carpal sprain and a spike wound to the right hind toe. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

A post-race sample was taken from Greysynd Blue - the winner of the event.
