Fantastic Fox underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the left quadriceps. A seven day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr R. Gladman the trainer of Maeve and issued a warning regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post.

Stewards spoke to Mr S Collyer, the trainer of  Bastian Bale regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Bastian Bale was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Collyer pleaded guilty to the charge, Bastian Bale is suspended for 3 months at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(b) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Maeve underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abdominal muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Bastian Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

A post-race sample was taken from Merriview Benny - the winner of the event.

Little Mia - Late scratching at 10.35am due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer D. White was fined $100.

Fast Freddie – Performed a Stewards Satisfactory Trial as the greyhound was stood down from racing at Horsham for unsatisfactory performance. Keeping Busy – Performed a Stewards Satisfactory Trial as the greyhound was stood down from racing at Bendigo for unsatisfactory performance. Weighing 26.9kg and beginning from box 6, Keeping Busy completed the 390M trial distance in a time of 22.53. Keeping Busy placed 2nd in a field of four starters beaten by 1.75L.

Keeping Busy has been cleared to race at all tracks except Bendigo.

Pandora's Comet – Performed a Stewards Satisfactory Trial as the greyhound was stood down from racing at Bendigo for unsatisfactory performance.
