Second Fiddle and Damaged Goods were slow to begin. Make Do and New Fun collided soon after the start. New Fun, Damaged Goods and Laney Keats collided approaching the first turn checking New Fun, Tombstone and Second Fiddle; Second Fiddle stumbled as a result. Arvo's Beattie was checked off Make Do approaching the second turn. New Fun and Second Fiddle collided on the third turn checking New Fun. Tombstone and Arvo's Beattie collided on the home turn.
