Springvale Misty was quick to begin.
She Got Fire and We Have Issues collided approaching the first turn, checking She Got Fire, Modern Jagger and Good Work Johnny; Modern Jagger raced wide as a result. She Got Fire and Springvale Misty collided in the home straight, checking Springvale Misty. We Have Issues lost ground in the home straight.
We Have Issues underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have sustained injuries to the left monkey muscle and right hamstring. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Mr James Harrington declined the option to have the greyhound re-vetted.
Stewards spoke to Mr James Harrington regarding the performance of We Have Issues in the home straight. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, We Have Issues must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
