An out of competition sample was taken from Cozi Fitz on 5th of April 2019 pursuant to GAR 79A.
Aston Lagonda Not raced for in excess of 3 months and is returning to racing after a change of kennel.
Aston Lagonda – New declared weight of 29.9, last raced at 31.5.
New Level and Tophat And Tails collided soon after the start. Dubai Prince and Cozi Fitz collided approaching the first turn. Dyna Ianto, New Level and Tophat And Tails collided on the first turn checking Tophat And Tails, severely checking New Level which fell as a result.
New Level underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hock fracture and right hindleg toe fracture. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Aston Lagonda - the winner of the event.
